Restore individual files
You can restore individual files or folders from your ActiveProtect appliance via the Recovery Portal:
- Go to Workloads > Machines and select the workload to restore.
- Click Open Recovery Portal.
- Find the file you want to restore.
- Click Download. Select the source server if there's more than one.
- View the progress in Recent Tasks.
Note:
- Downloading files from a remote location may take longer.
- The following data can't be downloaded or restored via the Recovery Portal:
- Data encrypted using Windows Encrypting File System (EFS)
- Data on Windows Server 2019 volumes with Data Deduplication enabled
