Auto BCC
The Auto BCC feature lets you automatically send a BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) to a specific address that is hidden from other recipients. For example, BCCs of messages from an employee can be automatically sent to his manager, or you can send BCCs of all messages to an address hosted on another server for backup purposes.
Creating Auto BCC Rules
- Click Create.
- Specify what kind of messages you want to automatically BCC. You can specify messages that are sent from or to a certain username, email address, or alias (e.g., "Hector," "hector@troy.com," or "PriamFamily"). You can also choose to BCC all messages.
- Specify the username, email address, or alias to which messages will be sent (e.g., "Priam," "priam@troy.com," or "PriamFamily").
- Click OK to save the rules.
Note:
To BCC messages to multiple addresses, you can create an alias that includes multiple addresses and designate that alias as the recipient of a BCC rule.
Importing and Exporting Auto BCC Rules
You can export all sender and recipient rules for backup purposes or import them to another server. To do so, click Tools and select the desired option.
Note that the rules to be imported must be in postfix format.
