SSO Server
SSO Server provides a variety of single sign-on solutions for your client applications, including OIDC, SAML, and Synology SSO. If users have signed in to an app via SSO, they can easily access other ones without the need to enter login credentials again.
This package allows you to set up SSO servers on your Synology NAS. If you want to configure your Synology NAS as an SSO client, go to Control Panel > Domain/LDAP > SSO Client.
Note:
- If the option Do no allow DSM to be embedded with iFrame is enabled at Control Panel > Security > Security, SSO client apps should be configured as allowed websites so that the SSO service can work properly.
- To integrate client apps using the Synology SSO protocol, refer to Synology's JavaScript SDK development guide for detailed instructions.
- To enhance login security, we suggest enabling 2-factor authentication for your users at Control Panel > Security > Account. Once 2-factor authentication is enabled, it will apply to all logins on SSO client apps.
