Pin Files to the Local Cache
If you have files and folders in your Hybrid Share folder that you often use, you can pin them to the local cache for quicker access. Pinned files and folders will not be evicted from the local cache even if the available storage capacity is low.
To pin a file or folder:
- Launch File Station.
- Go to the mounted Hybrid Share folder you want to access.
- Select the files or folders you want to pin and right-click on them.
- Select Pin to local cache from the drop-down menu.
To unpin a file or folder:
- Launch File Station.
- Go to the mounted Hybrid Share folder you want to access.
- Select the files or folders you want to unpin and right-click on them.
- Select Unpin from local cache from the drop-down menu.
Note:
- If the selected file or folder fails to be pinned, you can click Retry to try pinning again.
