Create a Download Task

This section explains how to create Xunlei-Lixian download tasks.

Create by Uploading Files

You can create download tasks by uploading a text file (.txt) containing http, ftp, ed2k, thunder or magnet links from your local computer to Download Station:

To create download tasks by uploading a file:

1. Click the Create button.
2. Choose Open a file and click the button to browse to the text file for upload.
3. Click Create.

To resume an Xunlei-Lixian download task:

1. Select one or more tasks in the list.
2. Click the Resume button. Only tasks which are not completed or paused will resume downloading.

Note: A deleted task will be classified to Deleted on the left panel with a status shown "Deleted." There is a download time limit for all Xunlei download tasks. Once the task reaches to its download time limit without prior time-extension, the status of the task will be labeled "Expired." To download an expired tasks to the local computer, select the tasks, click Resume, then click Download to local when the task is completed.

Create by Entering URLs

You can create download tasks by entering URLs.

To create download tasks by entering URLs:

1. Click Create.
2. In the window that appears, choose Enter URL, and enter the URLs of the file you want to download. You can enter up to 50 URLs in the box.
3. Click Create.

Download Completed Tasks to Local Computer

Select one or more tasks in the list, then click Download to local. Select the destination to store the file(s) and click Create. New download task(s) will be added to the BT/HTTP/FTP/NZB tab.

Note: If it is a BT torrent to be added, all files related to the BT task will be downloaded.
