Details

Synology license plate recognition can identify license plates from around the world, but has specifically enhanced the detection accuracy for particular regions. This article lists the supported regions.

Environment

  • Surveillance Station 9.1.4 or above
  • A DVA server running a People and Vehicle task

Resolution

You can choose a region in Deep Video Analytics > People and Vehicle task > Edit > Settings > License plate recognition > Region.

The Generic option supports recognizing license plates from any global region that consist of alphanumeric characters.

The following regions has been AI trained and enhanced for accuracy. Select the relevant option for your region.
