How do I make a warranty claim for my Synology product?

Please confirm that your product is purchased from a local distributor or agent authorized by Synology and that the product is still within its warranty period. This article will show you how to make a warranty claim for your device.

Check the warranty period of your Synology product

The warranty period commences on the date of purchase shown on your purchase receipt or invoice.1 You will need to present the receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.

If you cannot present the receipt or invoice at the time you need the warranty service, you can try contacting the local distributor or reseller from which you purchased your Synology product for your purchase record. If you still are not able to provide any proof of purchase, the date of manufacture based on our internal record will be used as the beginning of the warranty period. Synology only provides direct replacement services2 for devices sold in North America. For other regions, please contact the local reseller or distributor where you purchased the product for further assistance.
