Block List

You can create a Block List to prevent certain users and groups from logging in.

To add a user or user group to the list, click Add and select a user or group. However, it is suggested to add groups to the list instead of adding users individually.

To add a user to Block List:

  1. Go to the Block List page of RADIUS Server and click Username.
  2. Click Add and select a user.
  3. Click the Add button.

To add a group to Block List:

  1. Create a group and name it, for example, "Blocked," in Main Menu > Control Panel > Group.
  2. Select this group and click Edit Members.
  3. Add users to the group.
  4. Go to the Block List page of RADIUS Server and click User group.
  5. Click Add and select the group "Blocked."
  6. Click the Add button.

Note:

  • In the list, use separators, i.e. the at sign (@) and backslash (\), to differentiate between account sources.
    • An account with the @ separator associates with LDAP service, and so does the group the account belongs to. For example, tonywu@ldap.domain, users@ldap.domain.
    • An account with the \ separator associates with AD domain, and so does the group the account belongs to. For example, AD\tonywu, AD\users.
    • An account without any separators will be your local system account. For example, tonywu, users.
  • If you have configured RADIUS Server to authenticate either AD domain accounts or LDAP service accounts, regardless of whether you have included separators, RADIUS Server will always translate account names into new ones with separators before looking for matches from the list.
