Layout Management

Monitor Center layouts support up to 100 video channels. You can create multiple layouts and add different combinations of devices and tools to suit your needs.

To create a new layout:

Click from the left Layout panel and select an option from below. Once the layout is created, you can freely adjust the size and location of each channel. Simply drag and drop the window borders or the channel to your desired location.

  • General layout: Includes the devices and tools of your selection.
    1. Enter a name for the layout in the left panel.
    2. Drag and drop items from the Devices & Tools panel:
      • Maps: This channel allows you to monitor with selected maps. (See here for detailed operations.)
      • I/O Widgets: This channel includes the connected I/O devices. You can operate the devices and manually trigger related action rules.
      • Devices: Drag and drop items to create channels. You can press and hold the Ctrl and Shift keys for multiple selection.
    3. Click to apply a layout template.
      • Default layout: Generates a layout with the selected number of channels.
      • Auto-fit: Generates a layout that includes only the selected channels. Click to save or to reset the layout.
  • Camera group layout: Includes all the cameras in the specified group. If the group is modified, the layout will be synced automatically.
    1. In the appearing setup window, enter the Layout name.
    2. Select a camera group.
  • Sequential layout: Automatically rotates the selected layouts according to the set interval. You can also jump to a specific layout manually.
    1. In the appearing setup window, enter the Layout name.
    2. Set the Rotation interval (sec.). Click Set separate durations for each layout to customized the duration for each layout as needed.
    3. Select target layouts from the All layouts panel and drag them to the Included layouts panel for rotation.
  • Alert layout: Automatically switches to a layout when events are triggered. You can also jump to a specific layout manually.
    1. In the appearing setup window, enter the Layout name.
    2. Set the Buffer time (sec). If multiple events occur at once, the layouts will be switched according to the buffer time.
    3. Drag your target layouts from the All layouts panel to the Included layouts panel.

If you wish to set a layout as the default page when you enter Monitor Center, go to the left Layout panel, click on the target layout, and click Set as default layout.

Note:

  • The timeline and OSD buttons are unavailable when Sequential layouts and Alert layouts are in automatic switching mode.

To rename, edit, delete a layout, or add it to desktop:

Go to the left Layout panel, click on a layout, and click Rename, Edit, Delete, or Add to desktop.

To manage layouts with folders:

  • Click from the left Layout panel, click Layout folder, and enter a name. You can then drag and drop layouts into the folder.
  • Go to the left Layout panel, click on a layout, and click Add to new folder. A new folder that includes the selected layout will appear.

To rename or delete a folder:

Right click on a folder, and select Rename or Delete.
