Details
My Drive (home)
This folder represents the home directory of the account currently signed in. The directory path in DSM varies depending on the account type:1
- For DSM local accounts:
/volume1/homes/Account_name
- For AD domain accounts:
/volume1/homes/@DH-domain_name/Number/DomainUserName-RID
- For LDAP accounts:
/volume1/homes/@LH-FQDN_name/Number/LDAPUserName-UID
Enabling the User Home service automatically activates My Drive (home), allowing users to manage contents within their home directory on Synology Drive.
homes
This folder serves as the storage location for all accounts' home directories. Its path in DSM is /volume1/homes
.1 You only need to enable "homes" as Team Folder from Synology Drive Admin Console if you intend to sync the homes folder between two Synology NAS devices using Synology Drive ShareSync.
