Cloud Sync continuously monitors for changes to maintain synchronization between your public cloud and Synology NAS. This monitoring occurs even when no changes are detected, which can prevent your Synology NAS from entering hibernation mode or wake it from hibernation. This article provides the solution to this problem.

To avoid interrupting your Synology NAS from entering hibernation mode, follow the steps below to enable schedule settings on Cloud Sync.

1. Select a connection for which you'd like to set up a schedule.
2. Select Schedule > Enable schedule settings.
3. Click Suspend and select the time that matches the hibernation schedule of your Synology NAS. During the suspension time, Cloud Sync will pause syncing and monitoring activities.
