OAuth Service
OAuth Service is an open standard protocol for account authorization and authentication. It allows resource owners to authorize third-party access to their server resources without sharing their credentials. The package adopts OAuth 2.0 standard, allowing for Synology Web Service to register. For example, with the integration of Audio Station and OAuth Service, you can play music with Amazon Echo.
The package contains the following pages:
Application
In this page, you can view and manage registered applications, as well as set up default tokens' expiration time.
To enable or disable registered applications:
- In OAuth Service > Application, select the registered applications you wish to enable or disable.
Note: You can press Ctrl or Shift to select multiple items. - Click Edit > Enable or Disable.
To set up default tokens' expiration time:
- In OAuth Service > Application, click Common Settings.
- In the Common Settings window, specify the time (seconds) after which the tokens will expire.
- Click OK to save settings. The change will be applied to new tokens.
Authorized Item
In this page, you can view the authorized items, and revoke the authorization to them.
To revoke authorization:
- In OAuth Service > Authorized Item, select the items to which you wish to revoke the authorization.
Note: You can press Ctrl or Shift to select multiple items. - Click Revoke.
Log
In this page, you can view, export, and clear the logged events of the package.
To clear logs:
Click Clear to remove all the logs of the package.
Note:
- The removal of logs is irreversible.
To export logs:
Click Export to download the logs in HTML format to your client system.
