Delete incomplete multipart uploads

Multipart upload (MPU) is a mechanism used for uploading a large file. Each MPU serves as an individual object and takes up storage space.

When an upload (whether via web portal or API call) is interrupted, incomplete MPU may be kept in your storage space and cannot be viewed in the C2 Object Storage web portal.

You can free up your C2 Object Storage by deleting unused incomplete MPU.

  1. In a bucket, click Delete Incomplete MPU.
  2. A pop-up message will display the number of current incomplete MPU in this bucket. Click Delete to confirm the deletion.

Notes:

  1. It may take 15 minutes to complete the deletion and update the storage information. The actual time needed depends on the size and amount of incomplete MPU.
