On the Settings page, you can configure notifications and back up system configurations for Safe Access.

Notification

At Settings > Notification, you can tick the following to decide which events to trigger notifications and how to receive them:

  • Websites blocked by a web filter: SRM sends a notification when a website is blocked by a web filter configured at Profile > Web Filter.
  • Websites blocked for security reasons: SRM sends a notification when a website is blocked according to threat databases (including Threat Intelligence database and Google Safe Browsing) configured at Security > Network Protection.
  • Time quota exhausted: SRM sends a notification when the time quota of a profile is exhausted.
  • Time quota reached 80%: SRM sends a notification when devices managed in a profile uses 80% of its time quota.
  • Received a request: SRM sends a notification when a device managed in a profile sends a request for unlocking a website blocked by web filters.

Note:

  • The maximum number of daily notifications is limited to 100. An event will trigger notifications to be sent to all selected mediums. Besides, these notifications will be counted towards the daily limit as a single notification if they are triggered by the same event.
  • The event types Time quota exhausted and Time quota reached 80% can only trigger one notification per day.
  • Domains or IP addresses blocked for security reasons are displayed in such notifications as "www.example[.]com".
