Application Privileges

User and group privileges for individual services and applications can be viewed and edited. SRM provides flexible settings for controlling application privileges, making it easy to manage users and group access to different applications.

To modify application privileges for users and groups:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Services > Application Privileges.
  2. Select the application you want to modify. Click Edit.
  3. Click on User to view individual and group privileges.
  4. For each user or group, check Allow to allow access or Deny to deny access for the selected application. Depending on the application you may also select By IP to allow/deny access based on IP address.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

To view application privileges for users having different network IP addresses:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Services > Application Privileges.
  2. Click Permission Viewer.
  3. Select a user from User or group and then enter the IP address you want to view permissions for in IP address.

To set default application privileges for all users:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Services > Application Privileges.
  2. Select the application you want to modify. Click Edit.
  3. Click Default privileges and check Grant this privilege to all users by default.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.

Note:

  • The privileges of admin and guest cannot be modified here.
  • When you encounter privilege conflicts, the privilege priority is as follows: Deny > Allow.
  • Not all packages and services support By IP access privilege settings.
