Bitdefender for MailPlus

By purchasing licenses in Bitdefender for MailPlus, you can use Bitdefender's security engine to safeguard your Synology MailPlus against spam and virus.

Add your licenses

  1. Launch Bitdefender for MailPlus and click Add License.
  2. Read the terms and conditions carefully. Continue the process only if you agree to the terms and conditions.
  3. Sign in with your Synology Account while connected to a stable network.
  4. Select the number of licenses to purchase. The number of Bitdefender licenses should be at least the number of activated MailPlus users.
  5. Follow the wizard to finish the process.
  6. After purchase, go to MailPlus Server > Security > Antispam or Antivirus to switch the engines to Bitdefender.

Licensing notes

  • Licenses are activated upon purchase and cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Each Synology Account is entitled to a one-time 30-day free trial.
  • The antispam and antivirus engines will switch to the default ones if the number of valid Bitdefender licenses is less than the number of activated MailPlus users.
  • When a license is due within 30 days or less, its expiration date will be highlighted in orange.
  • If you need to migrate Bitdefender licenses to another Synology NAS, please contact Synology Technical Support for assistance.
    Note that if there are any existing licenses on the target Synology NAS, they will remain intact and will not be affected by the migration process. The migrated licenses will be displayed separately from the original licenses on the target Synology NAS.
