Settings

You can enable or disable the Proactive Care service, edit email recipients, and view the status of your Synology Premium Service (SPS) license.

To enable the Proactive Care service:

  1. Go to Proactive Care > Settings > General.
  2. Check Enable Proactive Care. To disable Proactive Care, simply uncheck this option.
  3. Click Apply.

Note:

  • Once you have disabled Proactive Care, system log collection and usage information sharing settings are no longer obliged to comply with the requirements for using Proactive Care. Therefore, these settings will return to their previous status.

To edit email recipients:

  1. Go to Proactive Care > Settings > General.
  2. Edit the email address in the Additional recipients field. Use comma (,) to separate multiple email addresses.
  3. Click Apply.

To view licenses:

The License section displays the status of your SPS license.

  • License Key: Shows the license registered on the current device.
  • Available License: Shows the number of licenses that are currently available.
  • Expiration Date: Shows the expiration date of your license.
  • Status: Shows the status of your license.
    • Not registered: Synology Premium Service has not been registered. Please log into your Synology Account to register it and then enable Proactive Care.
    • Activated: License has been activated.
    • Expired: License has expired.
    • Error or N/A: Unable to obtain license information.
