VPN Plus (iOS)

Version 1.0

VPN Plus allows easy access to Internet and local network resources via the Synology SSL VPN service powered by the Synology Router. This mobile application provides you with fast connection speeds, enhanced security, and better capacity to pass through firewalls.

Before You Start

Before setting up VPN Plus, please log in to SRM to install and set up VPN Plus Server and the Synology SSL VPN service (at VPN Plus Server > Synology VPN > SSL VPN).

Note:

  • SRM version 1.1.2 or above is required on the Synology Router.

Getting Started

To log in to VPN Plus:

  1. Enter the following information on the login page:

Note: When you enter a registered domain name, it must be matched with your Synology Router IP on the DNS server.
    • Account and Password: Enter your SRM account login credentials.
    • For your first login, you will be prompted to keep the VPN configurations as a regular profile. Tap Allow to create one. For future login, tap the rightward arrow next to Domain name or IP to select a profile.
