Log Center

In Log Center, you can view, clear, and download logs. You can also review alarms here. The left panel shows all log categories, and can be categorized according to date, status, or controller. The right panel displays all logs in the current category, and can be filtered from the upper-right corner.

Note:

  • Each controller can only retain up to 60000 logs. Any logs exceeding this limit will automatically be deleted to save space.

To switch categories:

  1. Click the icon on the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Date, Status, or Controller from the drop-down list to switch to the selected category.

To filter logs:

  1. Click the filter box on the upper-right corner. An advanced filter menu appears.
  2. Specify your filter criteria.
  3. Click OK to apply the filter.

To acknowledge alarms:

  1. Click Acknowledge, and select any of the following:
    • Acknowledge all items: The status of all logs will be changed to Event.
    • Acknowledge all items in this category: The status of all logs in the current category will be changed to Event.
    • Acknowledge all filtered items: If you have set a filter, the status of all logs that satisfy the filter criteria will be changed to Event.
    • Acknowledge all filtered items in this category: If you have set a filter in the current category, the status of all logs in the current category that satisfy the filter criteria will be changed to Event.

All acknowledged alarms will also be acknowledged on the controller.

To delete logs:

  1. Click Clear, and select any of the following:
    • Clear all: All logs will be deleted.
    • Clear this category: All logs in the current category will be deleted.
    • Clear filtered items: If you have set a filter, logs which satisfy the filter criteria will be deleted.
    • Clear filtered items in this category: If you have set a filter in the current category, logs which satisfy the filter criteria will be deleted.

To download logs:

  1. Click Download, and select any of the following:
    • Download all: All logs will be downloaded.
    • Download this category: All logs in the current category will be downloaded.
    • Download filtered items: If you have set a filter, logs which satisfy the filter criteria will be downloaded.
    • Download filtered items in this category: If you have set a filter in the current category, logs which satisfy the filter criteria will be downloaded.

Downloaded log messages will be saved to your local computer.

To update the list of logs:

  1. Click Refresh on the lower-right corner to get the latest log messages.
