How can I restore files using Synology Drive version control?
Purpose
The versioning feature in Synology Drive lets users restore files to previous versions and recover accidentally deleted files. This article explains how to use version control to restore files.
Before you begin, make sure to enable version control for Synology Drive team folders with a value of 1 or higher in the Maximum Versions field.

Notes:
- Admin accounts will see two options after selecting Synology Drive Admin Console: Version Explorer and Browse previous versions.
- If files are deleted through the recycle bin on Synology Drive web portal or emptied from Synology Drive Admin Console, they are permanently removed and cannot be restored using Version Explorer. However, if the shared folder's recycle bin is enabled in DSM Control Panel, you might be able to restore files from there by following these steps.
