Access Rule

In Access Rule, you can set up the access rules to determine the time when cardholders can access specific doors. The rules configured in this tab can be applied to individual cardholders.

To add an access rule:

  1. Click Add.
  2. In Information, enter the Name and Description for the new access rule. Click Next when this step is complete.
  3. Select the doors to be included in this access rule. Click Next when this step is complete.
  4. In Recurrence, determine the time when the doors are accessible. You can also schedule the validation of this access rule by configuring Valid from/Valid until options. Click Next when this step is complete.
  5. In One Time, you can set up one-time schedules to supplement or exclude the recurrent one you have just configured.
    • During the time set in Addition Schedule, the specific doors will become accessible even when set as inaccessible in the recurrent schedule.
    • During the time set in Subtraction Schedule, the specific doors will become inaccessible even when set as accessible in the recurrent schedule.
  6. Click Finish to complete the setup.

Note:

  • You can set up 50 addition schedules and 50 subtraction schedules at most.
  • If you set up contradictory schedules, the subtraction ones will have higher priority than the addition ones.

To edit an access rule:

  1. Select the access rule you wish to edit, and click Edit.
  2. Edit the settings in the tabs of Information, Door, Recurrence, and One Time. For more information, please refer to the section of To add an access rule.
  3. Click Finish to complete the setup.

To delete an access rule:

  1. Select the access rule(s) you wish to delete.
    Note: You can select multiple access rules by pressing Ctrl or Shift.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. You will see a confirmation message. Click Yes to continue.
