How do I deploy an RT2600ac as an additional Wi-Fi point?
Purpose
As of SRM 1.3.1 or later versions, the RT2600ac is now capable of functioning as a primary Wi-Fi point as well as an additional Wi-Fi point. This allows for a more flexible mesh Wi-Fi system topology. For example, upgrade your primary Wi-Fi point to an RT6600ax or a WRX560 and continue utilizing your current RT2600ac as an additional Wi-Fi point. You can also deploy multiple RT2600ac devices as additional Wi-Fi points.
This article explains how to deploy a Synology RT2600ac as an additional Wi-Fi point in a Synology mesh Wi-Fi network.
