Update

You can enable Fast Update to reduce the downtime brought about by system updates. As one of the mechanisms to enhance service continuity, a switchover will be performed during the update process and, as a result, the two host controllers’ roles will be switched when the system update is complete.

To enable Fast Update:

  1. Tick the Enable Fast Update checkbox.
  2. Click Apply to save settings.

Memory Cache Data Mirroring

To ensure disk-write performance, data is cached in the memory before actually being written into the disk. This option ensures the cached data is synced in real-time between the two host controllers' memories. After this option is enabled, when the active controller becomes unavailable, the passive controller can take over the services without losing any cached data.

Note:

  • The overall write performance may be affected if this option is enabled.
