Configure backup templates

Once your Synology NAS joins an ActiveProtect site, all Active Backup for Business template settings1 for PCs, Macs, and physical servers will merge into protection plans and can only be managed by the management server.

To manage backup templates on ActiveProtect Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Infrastructure > Backup Servers.
  2. Select your Synology NAS.
  3. Go to Template to create, edit, or delete templates.

Note:

  1. Platform, default device type, backup destination, and applied user or group settings will remain unchanged.
